Released worldwide on September 29, FIFA 18 is the best at the moment in the FIFA series of video games. With the savage graphics, perfect simulation, and an impressive representation of pro footballers from diverse backgrounds, no doubt, EA did a marvelous job.

Speaking of its diverse inclusion of players, we were thrilled to see England footballer of Nigerian descent, Dele Alli, featured in the official story trailer for the video game alongside big names like Cristiano Ronaldo, Alex Hunter, Rio Ferdinand, and Thierry Henry.

And, this piqued our interest, because (why not?) we love seeing our Nigerian talent repping us on the global stage. So, we at Naijalife went for the real deal – a lineup of some Nigerian players in the video game. The lineup includes the faces of football stars like Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester City), Taye Taiwo (FC Lausanne-Sport), Isaac Success (Watford FC), Fanendo Adi (Portland Timbers), Alex Iwobi (Arsenal FC), and others.
