Yemi Alade’s Third Studio Album Is Off To A Strong Start With ‘Knack Am’
Yemi Alade is easily one of the hardest working artistes in our music industry. Following the success of her Mama Africa era – which came with an acclaimed LP, a stellar EP and a world tour – Yemi’s upcoming era is off to an exciting start.

With no interest in giving herself a break, Yemi has released a brand new single, “Knack Am”, off her upcoming third studio album, Black Magic.

Produced by DJ Coublon (Kiss Daniel’s “Woju”, Tekno’s “Duro”), the highlife “Knack Am” is familiar enough to satiate Yemi Alade’s most loyal fans and fresh enough to successfully usher in a brand new era for the singer.
While “Knack Am” isn’t as solid a lead single as the acclaimed “Johnny” was for King Of Queens, it definitely trumps Mama Africa‘s lead single “Na Gode”.
Although details regarding the album’s tracklist, collaborations and producers remain unknown, Yemi has confirmed that Black Magic will be released in October – and if the songs are anything like “Knack Am” then we are in for a treat.
